so bored with the same old profiles and interviews we read in countless magazines,
the ones that sensationalize an actor's life and are strewn with compliments
about how perfect the actor is. For me, there have always been the stock
questions about my life and racy questions trying to lead me into a salacious
direction. The articles were always formed around the story the magazine
itself wanted to tell, regardless of tone or context. When I
decided to write this article, I was
excited to get a chance to talk
about where I truly am in life. I am
compelled to be real and explore the challenges of my profession.
This is my voice, right or wrong. One thing I am sure of is that I am on a quest
for truth. If I am willing to be completely open, then I will grow no matter
what.
