A FASHIONABLE ENTERTAINMENT MAGAZINE LAUNCHES

Los Angeles – Ingenue Magazine hits newsstands nationwide this October 1st. This new breed of magazine puts a fashionable spin on entertainment and focuses, not on all the oh-so-familiar stars typical of other movie magazines, but on stars in-the-making, the break-out actors and actresses who have landed major roles in mainstream Hollywood movies. The New Hollywood if one will. These fresh faces have already wet the appetite of a public ready to know more about them. Ingenue introduces these up-and-comers, already generating intense heat in the industry, to the media spotlight for the first time. With its in-depth stories, Ingenue uncovers how these hot properties pulled it off. How they broke from the ranks of obscurity, while their peers were left behind. Was it their aptitude, their perseverance, or just plain old luck? Everyone who has ever dreamed about making it in Hollywood, or just about everyone, wants to know.

But New Hollywood is about more than just the latest and greatest in front of the camera, and Ingenue aims to explore every aspect of the filmmaking process. Sharing the limelight are breaking writers and directors and other such individuals who are rarely seen. Studio executives, talent managers, and entertainment lawyers are just a few of the behind-the-scenes players that Ingenue features. The magazine demystifies the world of movies in a frank, intelligent, fun manner and provides that ever-coveted peek into the lives, both at work and after hours, of the Hollywood moviemaking machine.

Who graces the cover of the launch issue? None other than the charming-and-capable Ali Larter of Final Destination. The magazine has given her the rare opportunity to share her own thoughts in a self-penned article, free from the usual sensationalized hype, on her Hollywood experience so far. Other featured talent includes Stuart Townsend (Head in the Clouds), Marsha Thomason (Haunted Mansion), Marc Blucas (The Alamo), Rodrigo Santoro (Love Actually) and Erica Leerhsen (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). Other sections of the magazine include “Around Town” and “Location Scout,” featuring all the shops, hotels, and restaurants sure to be the next must stops.

With its breathtaking photography and design, Ingenue returns Hollywood to the fashionable place where it has always belonged. The magazine has recruited high-end photographers like Andrew Macpherson, who has shot numerous covers for Rolling Stone, and Coliena Rentmeester, who shoots regularly for W and GQ. Complimenting their look with equally gifted prose are writers such as Juan Morales, the former editor of Detour and Movieline, and Charles Lyons, a former top reporter for Daily Variety.

Major advertisers have been quick to come on board and include Hugo Boss, Swarovski, Lacoste, Maserati, Skechers, Von Dutch, and James Perse.
